GASP Video Coaching Software
Michael uses GASP Golf Swing Video Software for his coaching which allows him to video the pupil's swing from 2 seperate angles. The captured swing video can then be played through the GASP software on the laptop for the pupil to view from which Michael can do the following.....
- Play, pause, forward frame by frame to pin point swing positions.
- Draw lines, circles, angles etc to highlight certain body positions and movements.
- Overlay tool to compare positions eg. address position to impact position.
- Split screen to compare swing against top professionals.
- Save swing videos to pupil's individual folder for future reference.
- Compare side by side pupil's old swing against new and improved swing.
Take Your Lesson Home With You.......
Once the lesson is over it is only too easy to lose focus and after a short time practice can be a little fuzzy so using the myprogolfer video playback tool where you will be able to watch your previous lesson again and again from the comfort of your own home. This system works and my pupils are giving me some great feedback. I am also seeing a noticible improvement in my pupils understanding and speed of change. Understanding the problem is key to fixing it and with the ability to watch your lesson again and again, practice becomes more focused and your muscle memory rembemers the new motion quicker.

The combination of the pupil listening to my instructions, feeling the certain swing position and viewing the swing change on screen really helps with the understanding of the swing change but also helps to apply when striking balls.
