Swing & Custom Fit Studio
4 years ago I invested in building a purpose built Swing & Custom Fit Studio here at Barrow Golf Club which is accessed from my Professional Shop.
The studio is a fantastic enviroment to learn the golf swing or to be custom fitted for your clubs as it houses all the latest technology to assist the process. Never again will you have to fight a strong wind while trying to learn the golf swing or re-arrange a lesson due to inclement weather!! Relax, learn and enjoy the experience in the comforts of the studio all year round.
Video Analysis
During a lesson your golf swing will be recorded by 2 seperate video cameras which are mounted on the wall. The cameras are positioned so they capture the swing from 2 different angles, 'down the line' angle and also 'face on'.
The swing is then played back on the laptop using GASP Anaylsis Software so the 
pupil can view to gain an understanding of how he/she swings the golf club. Viewing your swing along with my explanation and also feeling a certain position really accelerates the learning curve.
GASP Analysis Software enables me to slow the swing down, pause it, draw lines to explain certain positions, compare against your old swing plus much more! Swings are then saved under your personal file so they can be reviewed at future lessons and a track on your progress can be made.

Uploading Your Lesson
A NEW feature that I now offer is the chance to upload your swing video with audio over the top explaining the changes we've made during the lesson. This can be uploaded to your private members page on my website so you can recap your lesson from the comforts of your home or office. You can then jog your memory of your swing positions before playing or practicing.

GC2 Launch Monitor & Simulation
I have just invested £10,000 on the state of the art GC2 Launch Monitor & Simulation system which has been proved the most accurate launch monitor on the market today!! It's a measuring machine that provides myself with various information about whats happening to the ball and clubhead through impact, which in turn projects the accurate flight of the ball on screen. This is then follow with data numbers so I can analyise how the club is performing and/or how the technique is affecting your ball flight.

With this information given after every shot I can build data averages of how a certain club is performing and whether it's suited to your swing. From here we can test various different models and compare them against each other to see which is performing the best.
