Nowadays we all have access to the internet and we all love to buy a golf magazine to read all the reviews about the new clubs on the market. Unfortunately these are just pictures and script telling you how good they are, how much further they hit the ball, this club will cure your slice etc etc.

What is custom fit?
Custom fitting is a personal 1 to 1 service to find a set of clubs that suit you, the individual. Everyone's build, swing, technique & swing speed are different from the next person so how can we all play with the same set of clubs? The answer is simple, we can't.
During a custom fit session I will obtain information about your game eg. how far do you hit the ball, whats your natural shape of ball flight, whats your weaker shot etc. From here we can try various models which will suit/help your swing and ball flight. Static measurements will then be taken followed by a dynamic test while striking balls which is the most accurate way of determining the correct specification for you. (this process CAN NOT be done online or by reading a golf magazine).
The NEW GC2 Launch Monitor & Simulator can be used to find information like clubhead speed, clubface angle, ball speed, launch angle, spin rates, distance and much much more. This is more detailed and determines the correct shaft to suit you.

Is there a cost to be custom fitted?
At Barrow Golf Club there is no charge for the custom fitting service and the golf companies don't charge any extra for building them to your specification. This only applies when purchasing the clubs through myself. If you would just like to be custom fitted and take your specifications home with you then there would be a charge of £25.
